Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
I definitely think the logo text should read CSTheory to be consistent with the domain name. For a slightly more detailed description on the main page we could have some text analogous to MathOverflow's "Welcome to Math Overflow - A place for mathematicians to ask and answer questions."
